Every week 9.30-10.30 AM is the time for Sunday School. At present, our believers and Pastor’s youngest daughter along with six Bible College students are doing the kid’s ministry by taking turns among themselves. Our Church believers’ children take part in the Sunday School. The time is well utilized to lead our children to grow in the love and commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Apart from that, for the past two years in the month of May, God helped us to conduct Vacation Bible School in our Church. In the year 2012 around 170 children participated. Only 10% percent of the total strength is Christian children. God gave us a good opportunity to share His love to them. We split them into 4 categories based on their age (Beginners, Primary, Junior, and Senior). More than 15 believers involved them, with the thirst for the young souls, for seven days. Every day they taught the children with God’s Word, Bible stories and memory verses.
On the final day we concluded the programme with a grand celebration that cheered them up. The children exhibited their talents through dances and skits for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. We distributed prizes for the children, who attended regularly the entire period there by encouraging them.
We are praying that the Word of God that is being sown in the children’s hearts should bear fruit, as their souls are getting saved. Through them, their parents too should be part of God’s kingdom.
From the month of September, every Sunday evening we started to conduct Sunday School in 3 areas around Vallam. Six of the Trinity Bible College students lead this team. Each team contains 3 members. We do this with immense passion for these precious little souls. We pray that this ministry goes on till the day of Lord’s second coming. Amen!
